What EcoSpark is all about!
EcoSpark is a fun and interactive platform built for children aged 5-18, but can also be enjoyed by adults and the entire family who want to learn about recycling in a fun and engaging way. Kids can learn how to turn everyday trash into amazing, useful creations through video tutorials, hands-on challenges, and interactive learning paths. Your child can share their creations in our kids' gallery, record eco-stories, join physical and virtual events including eco-exhibitions to support charities, and connect with other young eco-heroes. Our AI eco-scanner tells you how to recycle or reuse anything, and the interactive eco-map helps discover local recycling centers, repair cafes, and eco-friendly resources. Spark your child's creativity and eco-consciousness!
Your role as a parent or educator
Here, you will find everything you need to guide, support, and inspire young eco-creators. Safety tips, supervision guides, and learning outcomes to make the most of EcoSpark!
Sharp Objects
Always supervise children when using scissors, craft knives, or working with materials that have sharp edges. Consider age-appropriate tools like safety scissors for younger kids.
Clean Materials
Ensure all recyclable materials are thoroughly cleaned and dried before use. Avoid materials that previously contained toxic substances or strong chemicals.
Small Parts
Be mindful of small pieces that could be choking hazards for younger children. Keep tiny items like bottle caps, buttons, and beads away from children under 3 years old.
Allergies & Sensitivities
Check for any allergies to adhesives, paints, or materials. Use non-toxic, child-safe glue and craft supplies whenever possible.
Workspace Safety
Set up a well-ventilated, clutter-free workspace with adequate lighting. Cover surfaces to protect from spills and stains. Keep a first aid kit nearby.
